The Silence spell Gemonie cast over the Minotaurs to cover the sound of the party’s departure unfortunately also prevented the party from hearing Sweet Pops go down. Not just from the party, but also for the Minotaurs who had been trying to knock him out. Furthermore, Sweet Pops was under the power of the Invisibility spell cast earlier, so no one saw him go down. The Minotaurs continued to pound Sweet Pops until he died. The Invisibility spell was broken by his death.
Meanwhile, the party had been making their escape. Saykin used a Mage Hand holding a lantern over top oil spilled on the ground to attract the Minotaurs who fell for the ploy. While two carried off Sweet Pops body, the other two attacked the lantern, spilled its flame and lit one of the Minotaurs on fire. When it dropped to the ground to smother the fire, it rolled in the oil on the ground and further engulfed itself in flames.
The party used this distraction to escape.
